Creative Counselling

What is Art Therapy/Creative Therapy_.png

Art/Creative Therapy is a form of counselling, a person-centred approach that explores creative methods to help you move through concerns, life transitions, and grief.

It is a form of expressive therapy that empowers the individual, while providing a platform to bring concerns that live in the shadows in fear of being ridiculed or made to feel unheard, into the light. The process promotes expression, imagination, and mind and body connection to assist an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The power of imagery and creative exploration allows direct access to the limbic nervous system, being the part of our brain responsible for emotions, memories, motivation and behaviours.
