About your Therapists

Hi, I’m Tina

Throughout my adolescence and adult years, it has been my mission to bring back a sense of self-worth. I have always been drawn to professions that assist to bring back the light to dark situations and have worked with children, teenagers, young adults, adults in general as well as the elderly.

I have had a roller-coaster ride within my own life experiences and know how it feels to be betrayed, ridiculed, made to feel unworthy of all I could be and have experienced great loss and sadness. Life finds a way to present new opportunities when the time is right and I am filled with so much gratitude that this is the field I was meant to embark upon. It is like being a time-traveller where we can explore our past, always revisit our present self and imagine possibilities in our future selves. I am passionate about Art/ creative Therapy and throughout my experience, I have witnessed the healing qualities it possesses.

My goal as a Arts Psychotherapist is to assist my clients to gain a quality of life that is enriched with possibilities and to embrace change with more clarity, confidence and mindfulness.

It is my intention for you to gain a sense of worth, feel valued and heard. Creative therapy is an invitation only to explore the hurt or embodied feelings at hand through mapping, collage, journaling, therapy worksheets and related modalities where words, at times, are not enough.

If you prefer to address your issue/concern through narrative therapy only, we can do this too.

All this occurs in the software of your choosing via Zoom, Phone or Facetime. On-line therapy creates a platform for you to decide the setting whether that is the comfort of your own home or somewhere safe that offers a sense of tranquillity and calmness.

Our sessions will always centre around your needs in the present moment.
